WALL BALL DRILLS
1.
All drills performed with BOTH HANDS.
2.
Any wall
will work, but a smooth concrete wall at least 10 ft. tall is the best surface.
3.
Use your
GLOVES!!!!
4.
Stand 5
YARDS from wall (or less when doing quick stick).
5.
Perform
this routine 4-5 times a week for 15-20 minutes. Your skills will improve greatly in a very short period of
time.

Drills:
a.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND - one cradle and
out (50 times)
b.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – ONE-HANDED one cradel and out (50 times)
c.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Quick stick (50 times)
d.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – ONE-HANDED quick stick (50 times)
e.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Catch and face dodge (50 times)
f.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Split Dodge – throw right, catch right –
split to left – throw left, catch left – split to right (50 times)
g.
QUICK STICK
– Change hands on EVERY toss while ball is in the air (50 times)
h.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Cross handed (50 times)
i.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Behind-the-back (50 times)
j.
RIGHT
HAND/LEFT HAND – Side arm after a hard fake (50 times)
k.
BE CREATIVE
– DEVELOP YOUR OWN DRILL
NOTE: This routine should take you about 30
minutes when first starting (try to decrease your time as you get more
comfortable with it). Develop a
SET wall ball ROUTINE for best results).
